Nuvola, INC (“Nuvola”) is an intuitive cloud-based guest service management software for the hospitality industry. Nuvola is located at 110 East Broward Suite 1700, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.  Throughout this Privacy Policy, the terms “we”, “us” and/or “our” refer to Nuvola.

This Privacy Policy will help you understand the personal data that we collect from you as a user of our website or software application (collectively, “Service”) or as a customer (“you” or “your” being interpreted accordingly), what we use the data for and the choices you have regarding our use and collection of personal information.

Personal Information We Collect

Nuvola collects the following personal data about you:

Contact and account information. The personal details provided when users sign up to our Service. This includes user’s name, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, job-title, user identification number and password.

Information about user transactions. The information provided when users share their guest preferences with hospitality staff. This includes contact information along with particular requests or wishes that a user might share in order to receive prompt hospitality services.

Information Provided In SMS Chats. To serve users better, we make available instant customer service messaging tools for our users. Any personal information provided via this medium will be collected and stored.

Technical information. If you use our Service, we may collect technical information from your device, which we describe in more detail in the “Cookies” section of this Privacy Policy.

Other Information. We collect any other personal details you choose to provide to us when corresponding with us by phone or e-mail, participating in user/customer surveys or otherwise visiting and interacting within our Service.

How We Use Personal Data

For our business transactions, including, to perform a contract with you, to respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests, to send administrative information to you, such as information regarding the Service, to complete and fulfill any requests for service or accommodation, to fulfill your stay preferences, to ensure that your room is available, and provide you with related customer service, including sending confirmations or post-arrival messages, assist you with meetings, events or celebrations. Such use is necessary for the performance of the Service between you and us.

To communicate with you in connection with our marketing initiatives, or user or customer surveys. We may use any information you choose to submit in response, provided that you give us your consent to being contacted in this way at the time you provide us with the personal data.

For security purposes, such as to protect our company, our customers, or our platforms.

For legitimate business interests, such as to address complaints you make, to administer our platforms, to better understand how visitors interact with our Service and ensure that our Service is presented in the most effective manner from your computer/device.

With Whom We Share Collected Information

Cookies + Other Web Technologies.

Cookies. Our Services may use persistent and temporary “cookies” and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”). Cookies are small text files sent to your computer for record-keeping purposes and this information is stored in a file on your computer’s hard drive. A persistent cookie retains user preferences for a particular website allowing those preferences to be used in future browsing sessions and remains valid until its set expiry date (unless deleted by the user before the expiry date). We use Google Analytics to help us get a better understanding of how visitors use our website and software application, and to facilitate interest based advertising associated with users’ Google account and other devices used by them. Information Security

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

  • receive a description of any personal data that we hold about you. This includes a description of the purposes for which we hold your data. It also includes which third-party business partners, or types of partners, we may share your information with;

  • ask that we correct or delete personal data about you that may be incomplete, inaccurate or excessive;
  • object to our use of your data at any time (unless our use is required by applicable law);
  • opt out, without charge and on request, to using your information for direct marketing; and
  • lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
